Fixing our Counter Issues!

So, here is Eric demonstrating the problem of our kitchen:
We have this nice Ikea Norden table, but behind the table is this very annoying heater that made a nice gap that would cause all kinds of things to fall behind the table (groceries, papers, Jimmy Hoffa, etc.)

Eric doesn't really throw things behind the table, but you get the idea. Marvin shoves things back there though, just to be a fuzzy jerk.

Sometimes stuff just falls back there and it's really irritating.

THE FIX!!!!!

A very nice piece of Birch plywood that we bought from Middletown lumber, some veneer, about 5-6 coats of clear polyurethane, and TA DA!!!!!

Problem solved. Not bad, eh?
The wood is held in place with some putty.

Marvin did not help. Just sayin'.

New Horns for the Riverside Bull

Out of the goodness of his heart, Eric fixed a bull in Riverfront Park.
The horns had been pulled off, so he loaded up his bike with supplies, rode to down town Harrisburg and sculpted new horns for the bull.

Is it me, or does this bull look kind of angry?

This lovely lady helped Eric take photos of the bull
when he was finished.

His good deed done, Eric is ready for his ride back home.

Eric's new Summer Hat

I bought Eric a new summer hat,
but it was so very tiresome and boring!

It had a brown band that was glued on.
You know I ripped that crap off.

I wove together some beads that Eric
picked out at the bead store.

 I think he likes it!

Springtime Update!

A loooong Overdue Update

It is spring, and we have been cleaning up around our place.
Eric was grossed-out by our freezer.....

So he cleaned it! Looks so much better.

Eric Also did most of the shoveling.

Marvin thought warm thoughts for us:

New Bathroom Cabinet

We just replaced the tiny cabinet in the bathroom:

Eric and I wanted the HUGE cabinet from Good old IKEA: The LILLĂ…NGEN.

This baby is $70.00 bucks.

We put the LILLĂ…NGEN cabinet up after finding the studs in the wall, and I put some shelf paper on the back panel to make it look nice.

What do you think? And don't forget about the hover text.
